Aureus is the faculty association of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the VU Amsterdam.  Aureus is the name of a gold coin in the Roman Empire. The association asked us to create a new visual identity. The challenge: an appropriate style that remains intact in the visual violence to the many university bulletin boards, physical and digital.
